De Gea admits, Fernandes changed Man United

Bruno Fernandes, transferred in the January transfer window, has completely changed Manchester United.

So thinks David de Gea, who says that with his arrival, the Red Devils regained their composure and were in very good shape before football was interrupted.

“I think the whole team has improved a lot.” said De Gea, adding: “We were in a good moment (before football stopped), we were in good shape, top form.”

“We haven’t conceded a lot of goals, and of course, Bruno has brought a lot of qualities to the team. He is a smart player, a great midfielder.”

“The team has improved with him. It is unfortunate that everything has been interrupted because we were in good shape, but I hope that some players who were injured will be ready when everything is renewed, so it will be a good challenge for everyone.”

Manchester United are currently fifth in the Premier League with 45 points after 29 games.

De Bruyne is very close to the historical record in the Premier League

De Bruyne is very close to the historical record in the Premier League.

De Bruyne aims to become the player with the highest numbers of assist in Premier League history. Henry is the king with 20 during a season.

The fight for the ‘king’ of the Premier League, in terms of assists, continues.

With 17 assists so far, Kevin De Bruyne is five ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold in the race for the best of the season in the Premier League in terms of assists.

With 9 games left, De Bruyne will now aim for the historic record of Thierry Henry, only Mesut Ozil has so far approached the Frenchman.

In the 2002/03 season, Henry donated 20 assists to Arsenal, mostly during a season in Premier League history.

But before he can think of Henry’s record, De Bruyne must pass; Frank Lampard, who with Chelsea in 2004/05 donated 18 assists, as much as Cesc Fabregas 11 seasons later with Arsenal.

Meanwhile, in the 2015/16 season, Mesut Ozil came very close to Thierry Henry, but failed to equal this record or break it.

He finished the season with 19 assists, one less than Henry.

If Bruyne continues with this pace of donating assists even after the return of the season, he will break the record.

Gattuso confirms his future

Gennaro Gattuso looks set to continue coaching Napoli for at least one more season, as the coach himself has chosen not to exercise the option of terminating his contract at the end of the season.

According to the agreement between the parties, Gattuso could leave Napoli if he notified President De Laurentiis by April 15, as otherwise the signed contract, which lasts until June next year, would remain in force.

Now the only way for the parties not to work together is for De Laurentiis to decide to fire the technician, but at the moment it seems impossible, as the Neapolitan boss seems pleased with Gattuso’s work.

Moreover, even the transfer market that Napoli is making for next season, is all with the approval of Gattuso, that in the next season will lead a new team built by him and will try to achieve major goals.

Donnarumma continues his contract with Milan?

The Italian goalkeeper seems to be focused only on the current club, removing the dilemmas for his future.

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future looks set to be linked with Milan.

The Italian daily “Tuttosport” writes that the Italian goalkeeper is expected to extend his contract with “Rossoneri”.

The 21-year-old was linked with a possible departure from the San Siro at the end of this season.

However, this medium is convinced that the Italian representative is determined to continue his career with the Red and Blacks.

Donnarumma’s current contract will expire at the end of the season.

Juventus, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in his services.

Of course, the Italian goalkeeper would continue the experience at Milan only if he is offered a bigger contract.
