Casillas: I would like to return to La Liga

Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has announced that he would be happy to play again in La Liga.

Goalkeeper spent his career in the various age groups of the Real Madrid academy, before making his debut as a professional with this club, spending 16 seasons, winning five La Liga titles and four Champions League titles. Spaniard left the Los Blancos in 2015 when he moved to Porto.

Although the 37-year-old contract with the Portuguese giants will end at the end of this season, Casillas expects to continue his career at the Portal for two more seasons.

But he still dreams about a return to his home country, to raise even more the 510 appearances in La Liga, the first level of football in Spain.

“I was lucky to have competed in La Liga and unfortunately I’m not there for the moment. I will find it hard to experience something like success with Real Madrid. My time there is in the past, but I would love to go back to La Liga, “Casillas said.

It has been three years since the last time the goalkeeper has played for Spain. Many of his teammates have ended their career with the Nazis, but Casillas hopes to be solved soon by coach Luis Enrique.

“The national team is not something that has come to an end. Unlike other teammates, I have not retired from the national team. I think it is different to the goalkeeper, but I respect the decision of the coach who sees fit to take other goalkeepers with them because they think they are better. ”

“But I still want to play there, so why not? For example, Jesus Navas has proved that he can return to the national team and I am very happy for him. “

Black season, Real may lose the star of the defense

The next summer will bring a revolution to Real Madrid, where major changes are expected after a failed season and where Zinedine Zidane has the mission to completely renovate an old and overcrowded team with trophies.

However, Zidane must first decide which players will be considered untouchable and must persuade the dissatisfied to stay. One of them is Marcelo, who has long been puzzled, but now another defense star can come out on the market with his own desire.

According to L’Equippe, world champion Raphael Varane is unclear about his future at Real and after 8 years in Madrid he may think of leaving.

The French daily comes as a news source close to the French footballer, who is attentively attended by the biggest clubs in Europe, starting from the English clubs.

However, according to the media in Spain, this news is a provocation against Real Madrid, as the center defender wants a contract extension, though renewed early last season and is already under contract by 2022, with a 200 million euro breakage clause.

Even in 2016, when he was not playing regularly, Varane thought of leaving and was rumored to go to Manchester United, but then Zidane gave him more space. It is not known how this summer will be dealt, because Varane really is not excellent and in the defense of Real are expected major changes. Right now Real has bought midfielder Eder Militao from Porto, a footballer that is expected to become very important in Madrid.

Icardi at Juventus, Inter wants a sensational exchange

Mauro Icardi remains isolated at Inter and his future is a great puzzle, despite the club trying to hide tension and Beppe Marotta on Monday said he expects the attacker to return soon.

Lautaro Martinez has all done for himself with the fantastic appearance in the derby and Inter sees him as the leader of the attack in the future, so for Icardin departure is becoming more and more secure.

Today La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the club is intent on trying to buy another Argentine, Paulo Dybala, which Icard would like to offer to Juventus.

Mandzukic is probably in the last season as white and Icardi would be the ideal striker for the Turin, seeking to renew the attack without spending crazy figures. Dybala is not happy in Turin, has lost the country in formation and it is clear that Cristiano Ronaldo is at the epicenter for the club and the media, so a transfer to Inter would be of great interest to return the protagonist, though first the zikaltrit must go to the Champions League, to lure names like Dybala.

Ibrahimovic: Premier League is overestimated

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that the quality of football in the Premier League was just as he had expected before being transferred to Manchester United – overvalued.

After leaving Sweden, Ibrahimovic played four seasons in the Eredivisie of Holland, seven seasons in Serie A of Italy, four seasons in French Ligue 1 and one season in La Liga. During this time, he won 12 league leagues.

The Swedish midfielder moved to the Premier League in July 2016 as a 34-year-old. He had expected that he would have to adjust to football in England.

Ibrahimovic scored 17 goals in 28 appearances during his first season at Old Trafford and the striker, now playing for La Galaxy in the US league, can only imagine what would have happened if he had been transferred to “The Red Devils” ten years ago.

“It was exactly as I thought it would be. The speed was too great, everything was very intense. Football was good but the quality was somewhat overvalued, especially in the technical aspect. ”

“But everything was high speed and if you can not withstand pressure there, you can not survive. I do not regret not staying longer in the Premier League. I think everything that happens was written to happen. ”

“The only thing I can imagine is what would have happened if I was transferred here ten years ago. It would be another story. But I’m more sorry for the fans because they would have seen another monster. “
