Higuain may be forced to return to Juventus

Chelsea’s borrowed striker, Gonzalo Higuain, may be forced to return to Juventus if the English club decides not to rely on Argentina’s services for next season.

The Argentine midfielder was loaned to Milan following Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer in the summer of 2018 before moving to Chelsea during the January transfer this year, again as a loan.

Although London’s “Kaltri” can extend his contract by 2020 for 18m euros or eventually transfer € 40m, Chelsea does not seem to be sure he wants to keep Higuain in the squad.

The 31-year-old striker rejoined his former coach in Naples, Maurizio Sarri in January, but since then, he has managed to score just three goals for his new club.

His future in London looks very uncertain and returning to Juventus can not be ruled out, however embarrassing that would be the situation.
