Lionel Messi equaled Robert Lewandowski on the top goalscorer of this edition of the Champions League, thanks to his two goals against Lyon on Wednesday.

Of those still in the race, Dusan Tadic of Ajax and Moussa Marega of Porto have six goals each.

Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo has four goals, half less than Messi.

Juventus will do everything to transfer Mbappe

Juventus sports director Fabio Paratici has told Italian fans that he will do everything he can to buy Kylian Mbappe.

PSG’s new striker has become among the most sought after players in the world of football after an excellent season last year when he also won the World Cup with France, playing a key role throughout the tournament in Russia.

He continued his good form with PSG, and is currently second behind Lionel Messi on the list of top scorers in top five European leagues with 25 goals.

For the 20-year-old is very interested, so Juventus will face strong competition for his services, especially from Real Madrid, who was close to his transfer in the summer of 2017.

But among ongoing rumors of his move to Madrid, Mbappe said at the beginning of this week that he intended to stay in PSG despite the shaky elimination from the Champions League at Manchester United last week.

James returns at Real Madrid

Bayern Munich star could return to Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

James Rodriguez will most likely return to Real Madrid next summer.

The Colombian is at the end of his two-year loan with Bayern Munich, and was expected to reach a permanent deal with the Bavarians at the end of the season.

But El Confidencial claims Bayerni might not be willing to pay 43m euros for the James card, which means that Real Madrid may be forced to seek new buyers.

That’s because the new coach of Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos, is not interested in having James in the 2019/20 season.

If such a thing happens, then Real can raise its price to 60 million euros.
