Ronaldo: After my success there is no secret

Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted there is no secret behind his success and his ability to maintain the high level of appearances for so many years.

The 34-year-old is developing his first season for Juventus in Serie A after transferring from Real Madrid the summer we left behind.

The Portuguese superstar scored 450 goals in 438 appearances for Los Blancos in a fantastic nine-year period in the Spanish capital, and now aims to achieve the same success with the club from Torino.

Ronaldo has already scored 21 goals for Juventus so far this season, and says the love for the football game enables him to keep up the high level year after year.

“I have no secrecy, it is merely the dedication and passion for this sport [that keeps me going high],” Ronaldo told Juventus TV.

“I like to play football more than anything else. I’m happy playing in Portugal, England, Spain and now in Italy. For me it is a pleasure to score goals and to help the team, I am happy, “he added.
