Watch: Falcao's appalling, controversial penalty saved by Caballero

Radamel Falcao is back in form, but El Tigre is still struggling from the penalty spot.

On Tuesday, in the first leg of the tie between Manchester City and AS Monaco in the Champions League’s Round of 16, Les Monegasques were awarded a penalty kick in the 48th minute. It was a controversial decision. It wasn’t clear whether Nicolas Otamendi had taken Falcao down, and the Citizens had been denied a penalty when Sergio Aguero ran into one of Danijel Subasic’s legs.

However, City’s supporters were left with a sense of justice being served after Falcao produced a dreadful penalty, side-footing the ball towards the bottom right corner, where Willy Caballero collected possession.
