Zidane: Real Madrid lacks motivation

Valencia triumphed with the result 2: 1 against Real Madrid last night in Mestalla and the team coach admitted that it is difficult to motivate the players for the match.

Zinedine Zidane has clarified his first defeat since renaming to the position of coach with the justification for lack of motivation of the players.

“Los Blancos” scored 2: 1 against Valencia in good shape. Goncalo Guedes and Ezequiel Gray scored once before the reassuring goal of Karim Benzema.

Real Madrid is 13 points behind Barcelona’s league leaders, but is 11 points ahead of Valencia, which ranks fifth in La Liga. This makes the game too bad for the club in Madrid.

“They will try to finish the season in the best possible way, we will spend a few months talking about different topics, and it is true that maybe in these games there is a lack of motivation,” said Zidane .

“But these players are professional and when they wear the team shirt, they should give the best of the tires and they do it. That is not a test because they are Real Madrid players.”

“We are going through a complicated period. We have to experience bad moments, nothing will change.”
