Messi has a message for Barcelona fans

Barcelona captain has made it clear to fans that the team will need their support in order to overcome the result of two goals against Seville to go to the King’s Cup semifinals.

Sevilla defeated Barcelona 2-0 in the first quarter-final match last week, and will now travel to Catalonia for the return match on Wednesday at Camp Nou.

Messi is aware that it will not be easy to overthrow Sevilla.

“It will be difficult to overturn the 2-0 result against a great team like Sevilla,” Messi told for Mundo Deportivo.

“We will need our fans because they have good players and play very well in the counterattack,” Messi added.

The Argentine striker also commented on the competition in La Liga this season.

“It is a close race, for the head and for survival. We will try to keep this shape and collect points, “he added.
