Official: Juventus transfers a defender

Juventus has confirmed the return of defender Martin Caceres from Lazio, after the transfer deal until the end of the season.

In a statement published by the Italian champion, it is said that the Bianconeri club has paid 600 thousand euros to transfer Caceres until the end of June 2019.

Uruguayan played for Juventus in the 2009-10 season, before returning two years later winning four Serie A titles.

However, competition and injuries prevented the 31-year-old from occupying a title. He played for Southampton, Verona and Lazio.

He comes to replace Medhi Benatian, who completed the transition to Qatar club Al-Duhail on Monday evening.
